Who We Are

Stand for Kids is a student-focused advocacy group that believes every child in our region should receive an excellent education.

Our Mission

Our mission is to ensure every child has access to an excellent education by bringing people together and mobilizing community support for reforms and innovation that will strengthen our schools and improve student achievement.

School Reform

More than 25 community leaders and organizations have joined together recently to sign two letters, CPS, Teacher Union Contract Has Enormous Implications, and Open Letter to the Cincinnati Board of Education, encouraging Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) and the Cincinnati Federation of Teachers (CFT) to work together to support common sense reforms as part of the pending contract between schools and teachers. The contract has enormous implications for the future of our kids, and our wonderful city.  The signatories of these letters who recognize this important opportunity for our community are listed below:
